I'm back in my loft rotation for the week. I decided to work on another forest fire painting. The commission I did was very popular, so this one will be sold in the studio. It proves to be a challenging and controversial subject. The biologists and park rangers love it because they know that fire is vital to the health of our forests. The reason the west burns out of control is due to overdevelopment and a lack of controlled burns. Florida does a pretty good job of keeping our parks and reserves on a controlled burn schedule. I see them regularly here each winter. I'll show the painting to you when I'm done.
I still have a fair bit to do if I am to meet my schedule of being officially moved to my studio the first of march. I leave for Wekiva the first Sunday of march and will move to the studio as soon as I get back, so I need to be ready before I leave.
I am almost finished with reorganizing the studio. I can now see table tops, so it is a victory. I need to start a commission on Monday. I have a month to do it but I like to get a good start so it will have some drying time after the block in.

Congrats on the iPad! Blogger has an app for doing your blog, but I like using Blogsy, it has a few more options. Both work well. I like Brushes for sketching and painting, it was the first one I got, is simple and easy. There are many new ones out. Oh, Linda, have fun!
I don't have a new iPad but I do love using mine. ATM I can't sit at my computer but I'm finding I can do alot on the iPad lying down. What app are you using for values and notan? Hope your studio move goes well - it is really fun to hear about all of your adventures and your positive attitude!
Thanks for the great suggestions Jo.
Love,
Linda
Hi Rose. The app is called Value Viewer. It is awesome. Great to hear from you.

Linda
By the way, Rose told me about Blogsy. :). I'm going to look at the value app. Thanks.
