Notes From the Loft Studio
I ordered deep gallery wrap canvases by mistake in November, only three and it is because I didn't pay attention to what I was doing. It was too much trouble to send them back so they have been sitting in my painting studio. I decided to do the paintings and wrap the painting around the edges, hanging them wired and unframed. I never really liked that in the past, always having preferred to frame my paintings, but I'm going to see if these three paintings will sell. Since I didn't have to frame them, I can charge less for them so it will be interesting to see if they get any interest. They actually look pretty cool.
I decided to use my winter five color palette on the second one and I love it. As soon as it's finished, I'll show it to you. The palette:
Mars Black
Titanium White
Cad Red Light
Ultramarine Blue
Yellow Ochre
